Gelmino Chesini built his first bicycle in 1925 in the small Italian village of Nesente. After WWII Chesini acquired a bike factory and relocated his operations to Verona. In 1963 a Chesini won the Solo 100km World Amateur Championship, in 1964 and 1965 riders of Chesini bikes also won the Team 100km World Amateur Championships.
The attention to detail and fine quality Chesini required didn't allow for continued mass production; today each bike bearing the Chesini name is customised to the rider and made by hand in Verona.
Our frames are checked for wear, damage and alignment. Rear spacing is listed as the actual measurement.
